We provide support and guidance with school admissions. Your local council will use a variety of criteria for admissions, including catchment area, proximity to the school, whether a child has siblings already at the school, and special educational needs (SEN). Once a school application is made, your local council will than communicate the outcome of the application to the parents and carers. We can help with new applications for a new academic year or an in year application. It is important to be aware of the deadlines for applications as it varies for primary and secondary schools. Applications submitted after the deadline may be considered as in-year applications, which means they won’t be considered alongside those submitted during the main admissions round.
